About The Guest

Katherine Dudley is a traveling Cinematographer and Photographer, who’s been working professionally in the film industry since 2013. She’s shot narrative films, documentaries, and music videos across the US, and has worked internationally in Eastern Russia as well. Katherine’s passion for cinematography springs from her lifelong love of literature and storytelling – growing up as a reader, she would imagine all of the details, and longed to be able to bring to life the worlds in the books she read. She describes her style as seeking not to simply capture reality, but to elevate it, and loves the process of building a visual world for every project she shoots.

Samantha Rund is an actor and comic who has performed all around the country. A graduate of Northwestern University, University of Washington (MFA in acting), and Second City’s Conservatory and Directing Programs, she found her way into stand up comedy and hasn’t looked back since. A versatile performer she’s appeared in countless plays, commercials, and independent films. Festival credits include: Burbank Comedy Festival, LA Diversity in Comedy Festival, Ventura Comedy Festival, Glendale Laughs Comedy Festival, and Funny Women Fest LA. Black And A Half Podcast #45: HB Radke

This week on Black And A Half, Manny and Silas welcome HB Radke, who played all of the music for Silas’ Parody CD Frozen In Carbonite. HB is a man of many talents and we were able to touch on just a few of those.
About Our Guest: HB Radke
HB Radke has performed for over 45 of his 50 years. A whiz on the trumpet at the age of 6, HB played his first gig with Connie Stevens and Rich Little. With the helpful tutelage of HB’s father, former Harry James lead trumpeter Fred Radke, he started his own big band just a year and a half later.
The HB Radke Orchestra became an instant hit in the Seattle area. Local TV performances ultimately led to command performances for Presidents’ Ronald Reagan and George Bush, as well as numerous national TV shows. As HB grew older so did the band. He studied at the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, and took a side trip into the world of Disco and House music production.

Today HB is an accomplished writer of songs and screenplays. He is a creative content creator of visual and audio media. When he’s not “making a thing” he’s spoiling his Pugs.

Lindsey is more than just a wonderful actor. Lindsey received her B.F.A. from Emerson University in Dance and Theater and her M.A. from Lesley University in Social Sciences with a focus on holistic health modalities and community development. She has worked and trained as a dancer, health instructor, muscular therapist and life-coach in Europe, Asia, and Australia for more than thirteen years. In this time, she attained degrees and certifications in Muscular Therapy, Thai Massage, Enneagram Coaching, Career Coaching and the full sweep of Pilates practicum. This broad international experience is reflected in her integrative practice methodology.

When not in the studio Lindsey continues to pursue her artistic side through writing, performing and storytelling. She is blessed to have a pigeon pair of beautiful children and a “totally awesome husband.”
